Adventure Awaits!
Our jewelry and accessories are made for enjoying life's journeys, whether you're beachcombing, setting sail, or just dreaming of the coast.
They are designed to weather a storm or two, but a little TLC will keep them looking their best:
- While they are built for seaside adventures, we recommended rinsing off any salt or sand after a day at the beach.
- Salt + Sand, yes. Sunscreen and Chlorine, no.
- Avoid wearing our jewelery in the pool or shower, as chlorine, lotions and potions do not agree with our hardware.
- Gentle Suds for Stubborn Grime: If your rope starts looking a bit more "dockside" than "deck-ready," a gentle hand wash with mild soap (think baby soap or a tiny drop of dish soap) and cool water will do the trick.
- Air Dry is Key: Like a sun-drenched sail, let your rope jewelry air dry completely before storing or wearing it again. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight for prolonged periods, as even the toughest ropes prefer a bit of shade. No tumble dryers for these nautical beauties – they like to dry the old-fashioned, sea-breeze way!
- Fray Check! Over time, with lots of love and wear, you might notice a stray fiber or two. You can carefully snip them with sharp scissors. For synthetic ropes, a very quick pass of a flame (an adult's job, please!) can help seal the end, but be super careful not to melt the main rope. When in doubt, a tiny dab of clear super glue on the very tip of a fray can also work wonders.
